Sovtek have updated their designs and have produced a premium 6L6GC. It has found favour with Mesa Boogie and Peavey due to its clear tone. The valve is comfortable with 500vdc plate voltage and shows a number of sonic improvements over the old Sovtek 6L6WXT and 5881 types.
The valve has more treble detail and deeper bass response than prevoius Sovtek valves. Available in dual matched pairs and quads
