This valve is specially selected to run in Mesa Boogies fixed bias arrangement and will work in all Boogie that use 6L6GC. Boogie used the Svetlana winged C as their 6L6 STR 454 but has not been available for some time. Many Boogie players feel that this is one of the best sounding 6L6GC and indeed the Svetlana winged C has a reputation second to none.
So to satisfy customer demand we now have this item available for easy ordering.
The valve features thick mica spacers and internal bracing to help reduce vibration and microphonics. The valve produces an even and rich soundstage without sounding muddy under full distortion.The treble is clear and smooth and has a nice chime close to the old Philips/Sylvania sound.
They come burnt in and dual matched on anode current and gain by us.
