The Weber Ceramic Signature 12S is from the Weber Signature series.The Signature series are renowned for a clear high end with plenty of midrange punch and is suited to many musical styles. It features a 20oz ceramic magnet, 25 watt, 1" voice coil, curved seam, inverted rib cone.
The Weber has a 25 watt power rating into 8 ohm and is intended for low power amps where Ceramic punch is required. Economical replacement for original amplifiers that were fitted with Chicago Jensen C12R, C12Q and Oxford 12s. The Weber Ceramic Signature 12 S produces a more aggressive throaty sound than its Alnico brother.The sound that you would expect from early 60s Fenders fitted with Ceramics. It has bright punchy top end with a hard midrange crunch with a medium breakup. The Sweet Spot is easy to find and this is a great cutting blues speaker.
