The valve in my opinion is more like the classic RCA in looks as well as sound. RCA made the famous the black plate clear top 6L6 valve and the RCA has become one of the industry reference. The valve has a ruggedised mechanical construction and thick grade glass giving very low microphonics.The anode construction follows the classic R.C.A design with that magic black oxide coating. The valve overdrives easily and has a warm detailed mid range.We sent these to a Vintage guitar dealer Paul Wright as he owns a Dumble Overdrive special for his evaluation. He said of the T.A.D 6L6WGC I have tried every type of 6L6 in my Dumble and these are Unbelievable, they are the best 6L6 I have ever heard.I have waited years to find a tube that is affordable with this kind of performance.
